Hunstanton bandstand 20th July 2025

Another year at Hunstanton where the good weather deserted us.....

Despite the wind and rain, the collective band sound was excellent through the commendable renditions of contrasting pieces. The audience under shelter kept their distance, but were very appreciative of the band's musical efforts. Sadly, with rather damp music and the cornet back row and Bb basses getting drenched, we called it a day at the end of the first half. Maybe next year, the sun will shine...and not only in the morning and evening ! Many thanks to our deps and to our conductor, David, whose humour and directorship made light of the inclement performing conditions.
